when i used to go out i would know everyone that i saw. now i go out alone, if i go out at all
I feel lame. The Walkmen are playing the Duckroom tonight, which is about 100 ft from where I’m sitting, but I’m not going to go. My cold seems to be getting worse, and I don’t think bar smoke is going to help out my already annoying cough. I also found out that my toast flip book is going to be due on Wednesday instead of Friday, which is when I thought it was due. I think I’m going to be okay, though, since I only have “Unwrapping Psychoanalysis” tomorrow, and should have plenty of time to work on stuff during the day tomorrow. Instead of going out, I’m going to look up images of animals online for reference material for this illustration project that I haven’t started on yet, while Blake plays Mario Galaxy.
Tonight Blake fixed a delicious stir-fry, with broccoli, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, and tofu served with quinoa. Yummmm.
Earlier today, I went to an Art School Council Meeting about this year’s Art Prom. It looks like I’m going to be in charge of the music this year, so if any body knows any good DJs around here, they should let me know. I’m totally psyched, though, and am excited about this year’s Art Prom. It’s going to be in the same space it was in last year, which I’m really glad to hear. There was also some talk of themes today, but it’s still very much up in the air. If anybody has any suggestions about themes, you should let me know and I’ll present them at the next meeting.
Tonight I taught Blake the word “croup.”
happy MLK day.
